Requirements: 

— 2+ years of experience in Software Testing;

— 1+ year of experience in automation testing of Web applications;

— experience in testing web services;

— solid experience in using SQL or NoSQL databases;

— 1+ year of experience with a scripting language;

— strong critical thinking skills;

— ability to write clear and concise bug reports;

— strong documentation ability;

— knowledge of JSON & XML standards.

Responsibilities: 

— analyze product specs, decompose complicated software systems, and design strategies to test these systems;

— create, expand and maintain test automation for the applications you support;

— find and verify issues in applications;

— create and maintain test cases and regression test suites for multiple software projects;

— work closely with the project team (engineering, design, project management) to deeply understand the application, the requirements, and the client’s needs;

— validate feature tickets and file defect tickets in JIRA;

— attend project stand-ups and QA team check-ins to provide status updates on projects;

— perform a mixture of manual test case execution and exploratory testing;

— contribute to the continued growth of the QA team’s skills & process.
